Joe drove here, completed the basic service on 18 year old door, made the necessary tune-ups, added a surge protector and was kind enough to not only listen to an additional request to look at a future door but complete a quote for options inside that same 2 hour window! Nick did a great job. I spent more than I had planned but after Nick inspected the whole door he fully explained and showed me the other problems besides just the springs. He didn’t pressure me but I made the decision to repair the whole thing one time rather than have it break and have more service calls costing me more in the end. Called on Sunday expecting to get a recorded message on their hours of operation when a live person answered the phone. She offered services on Sunday with no surcharge for weekends or emergencies. Within 3 hours of my call, the garage door was repaired to my satisfaction. The work was performed by Paul who was very efficient, knowledgeable, and very personable. Excellent service from beginning to end. I called two other services first and couldn't reach a person - just a recording that wouldn't accept messages and an answering service that couldn't help me. Precision answered their phone promptly (answered by a human) and scheduled a service appointment a few hours later. The technician, Hunter, called me 30 minutes before arrival to confirm. He arrived on time and he was professional and thorough. He fixed the problem with my garage door, he explained several options to me, and he showed me how I could oil the door myself. I felt the cost was very reasonable and I will definitely call Precision again when I need any help with my garage door. Thank you!

I had Precision replace broken springs and motor three years ago, and I called to ask for a check of a noisy door and intermittent failure of the openers. Joe arrived just when he said he would, and he quickly found that our problems were caused by a couple of my DUH lapses: blocked sensor lights, and dry hinges. He quickly fixed those, and he showed me what I needed to do to prevent them from recurring. Very friendly, helpful, and professional service.

Paul called and was able to come early for our appointment. Our door was not functioning properly and was very noisy. I thought it needed some adjustment. He discovered, very quickly, that the support for the spring mechanism was pulling out of the wall. He fixed and reestablished the support and then proceeded to solve the rest of the noise problem. When he was done the door was very quiet, worked properly and seemed solid. I thought my bill was going to pretty high but I was surprised at how reasonable it was. He was very professional as was the scheduling person. The response time was very good.....less than 24hrs.

I was very impressed, I was told a technician would arrive between 12:00 and 2:00 and he arrived promptly at noon. The problem was quickly diagnosed and remedied and both doors were serviced. Our garage doors have never opened and closed so quietly. Will definitely call again when the need arises.

I found Precision Door Service on Angie's List and engaged them to replace a garage door and several interior doors, as well. The technicians (there were several, and separate ones for garage/interior) gave me all the information I needed to choose the doors I wanted and they were very easy to work with, accommodating my rather hectic travel schedule. After installation, there were a couple of little glitches and I was pleased that the owner, Stan, actually called me on a Sunday afternoon to schedule a follow-up in order to completely fix the issues. I would recommend Precision Doors highly, especially because of the excellent customer service. It was clear that their professional reputation means everything to the owners of this company and no detail is too small to notice.
