We needed to replace the rubber seal on the bottom of the garage door. Initial contact response with Precision was quick, polite, informative, and encouraging. The technician, Jackson, was competent, knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. The seal was replaced and we also paid for a check and lube on the door. We also got some helpful information about replacing the opener and eventually the whole door. Though a little pricy, we thought the quality of the service merited it. We contacted them because we heard them mentioned on OPB as a sponsor, meaning they care about the community, which we appreciate.

Our garage door was randomly opening and closing. The repairman determined the circuit board in the opener was dead. He then presented several options for a new unit. He installed the new unit very quickly and professionally. He was also very nice. He did a great job of explaining everything he was suggesting we do. The unit we bought is very, very nice. The company sent someone out the same day we contacted them. Highly recommended.

Our door opener (over 31 years old) failed abruptly. A tech came to our house the day we cslled and evaluated the problem. The opener was replaced the following day by the same person, who was courteous, engaging and professional throughout The door has operated as desired ever since. Can't think of anything negative to say.

Jackson installed the Liftmaster 6690L Smart opener complete package and did an excellent job replacing a 16 year old opener. I couldn’t believe how quiet it is now. I had Precision Garage Door out to install a new garage door opener. I was able to get an appoint for the next day. Jackson was wonderful to work with, polite and very friendly. We had a very old and unsafe garage door spring system that broke. Vance at Precision was quick to come out and was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He did an excellent job of thoroughly explaining solution options to someone who knows nothing about garage doors. He provided different options, gave estimated timeframes and costs, and thoroughly explained the steps he was taking along the way. Though we only went with repair work due to economic uncertainties right now, we’re looking forward to exploring possible replacement garage door options down the road. When that time comes, Precision will be who we call.

Called Precision because of intermittent “banging” sound when the garage door was opening. Had same day service in a few hours. The technician, Jackson, diagnosed the problem immediately (damaged bearing plates) and replaced them quickly — a very affable technician who obviously knew what he was doing. My wife and I both told him that his skill would not be taken over by AI for a long time, if ever. Precision Door Service repaired & replaced all the moving parts for my 60 yr old, double wide garage door. I was lucky they sent Jackson to review the damage & complete the work. He is an excellent technician; focused, hard working & very knowledgeable. There were a lot of moving parts & he explained in a way that I never left confused. I would work with this company again if I knew that Jackson would be on the job.

All of my two experiences with Precision have been more than satisfactory. The most recent involved a repair needed because of impact on a garage door. I was able to make the service call appointment easily online. The technician arrived within the window, and provided a specific ETA via text before arrival. I took the opportunity to have an inspection of all of the three doors, which was overdue. Jackson, the technician, was able to repair the door without replacing any parts and without leaving any of the original cosmetic damage. He did remark that we were lucky to have such a successful repair. I wish that were true about the car that hit the door. I decided to replace the springs and bearings on all of the doors after Jackson’s assessment. Jackson was affable, knowledgeable about our system, very practical, and very patient and thorough with explanations. He distinguished between the parts of the garage doors that were cheap and those that were of high-quality. He did not claim that we needed any replacements or upgrades. He did not try to upsell us either based on the repair or on the maintenance inspection. He provided various estimate scenarios so we could choose what, if anything, to replace, and among the component options. I have no ability to comment on relative cost other than we were given options relating to quality of materials and warranty.

Outstanding tech. Beau was well prepared to inspect my door and explain all available options. No pressure or hard sell. He got right to work making the agreed to updates. Now my door is so quiet and I have an outside keypad AND the ability to have Amazon deliver to my garage. No more porch pirate worries. This whole experience was far above expectations. Makes me wish I had two garage doors that needed attention! Very FAIR price. I was so impressed with the service I received i asked Beau for business cards so that I could put them on the shared bulletin board of the condo. We have 52 bldg with 3 garages to each bldg. Lots of possible work.
