Vance comes to Precision with over 6 years of related experience. He finds joy in helping others and solving mechanical problems that stems from his love of restoring and fixing vintage motor cycles. He was born and raised in Portland and as such, naturally, enjoys the outdoors, specifically fishing and crabbing along the coast. He is a family man who loves to spend quality time with his wife and their 3 energetic cats!! Precision is happy to have Vance as a member of our Service Team.

Precision came recommended to me by my Mom and I was pleased with their service. Vance came out and did an excellent job resolving my issues. The spring broke, but the whole garage door needed some updating, which he took care of. Vance was polite, professional, helpful, and efficient. I'll be using Precision again, but hopefully no time soon thanks to the great work that was done on this visit.

We had a very old and unsafe garage door spring system that broke. Vance at Precision was quick to come out and was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He did an excellent job of thoroughly explaining solution options to someone who knows nothing about garage doors. He provided different options, gave estimated timeframes and costs, and thoroughly explained the steps he was taking along the way. Though we only went with repair work due to economic uncertainties right now, we’re looking forward to exploring possible replacement garage door options down the road. When that time comes, Precision will be who we call.

I had an issue with door not opening fully today at our detached garage with no other exterior entrance , and key pad tempermental .. for several days.. I called Precision Door at around 11 am. The scheduling person said they could come this afternoon between 1 and 3. At 1:05 there was a knock on the door and the very pleasant technician was there! I know this doesnt't happen all the time but I have always had great response , no-one trying to upsell, and they are fast and efficient. Never had a complaint and have called Precision door for years.

I picked them because their name came to mind from advertising. I had to change my sppointb3 times and the girl on the phone was more than helpful and was able to get me on the schedule today. She was so nice and I was embarrassed that I changed it so often and she assured me it was no issue. Vance was very professional. Explained 5 different options to me with no pressure to buy anything, I chose the 20 year plan and he was so good about explaining everything he did in great detail. Very personable. I would give your phone servíce and Vance both 10 stars if I could. I’d be happy to recommend your services to others. Hopefully I’m good for quite awhile but will call again if needed.

We had Precision replace a garage door opener & key pad. A couple years ago, they replaced our garage door. The counterweight coil spring on my door broke on July 4 unexpectedly after nine years of constant use. I called Sunday AM and a technician from Precision was there within an hour and a half. Vance thoroughly examined the equipment and informed me of everything he was going to do, and proceeded to do it with excellence. He completed the work in a short amount of time and the door operates better than it ever has. I am so impressed with how thorough Vance did the work
