I saw their advertisement in the Oregonian and since my automatic opener was not functional, I thought I would give them a call. I am sure glad I did. The technician was named Aaron. I thought he did an outstanding job on my garage door. He is truly a craftsman. With the installation of a new motor, a weather strip (That I had asked for) and a tune up and inspection, the door works better than it ever has since I bought my house 6 years ago. Well worth the price. Kudos to Aaron and the rest of the Precision crew.

I have only positive things to say about my experience with Precision door. My old door was falling apart and I needed to have it looked at. I agreed with Paul's assessment that it should be replaced. I thought the price was fair so I ordered a new door and after a short wait, Jess came out (arrived early) and did a masterful job of installing the new door. He was meticulous in his work and I am extremely pleased with the finished product! He did a very good cleanup too! No hesitation in recommending this company and their professionalism! I feel like I have a new garage door it is so quiet when it goes up. I had bought a Groupon to have my garage door opener tuned up. My garage door opener wasn't closing the door all the way. Branden recommended a new opener as it is quite old but when I explained that I wouldn't be able to purchase one right now he worked hard to find the issue and replace the part and then lubricated it and had it running again and sounding like new. He never tried to pressure me into a new unit but worked hard to make mine last awhile longer until I can save up the money for a new one. I really appreciated that and will call Precision for the new one when I am ready. Branden is a class act and really knows garage door openers & a real professional. Thank you

Luke was very competent and explained all the aspects of my garage door parts, without any pressure to buy new ones. I decided to upgrade with all new springs and moving parts. He came the same day I called for service, very important to me because I needed to be able to get my car in and out of the garage. Hi, Just wanted to let you know that Luke did an excellent job. He called a little early saying he could meet me sooner if i able to. He was on time and when what was going on with the remotes, he listened carefully and knew exactly what i needed. He got straight to work, was professional, efficient and even gladly let my golden retriever lean on him for a "hello". Very impressed! I was told by two other garage door companies that the space was not sufficient for a garage door opener. Luke showed up and not only fixed a broken spring the same day, but he worked out a plan using his resources (co-worker who stopped by at the end of his shift to look) to install a garage door opener as well. My wife and I are VERY happy with the install and Luke made this happen with his knowledge, team partnership and a smile the entire time. I was very impressed with Aaron's call prior to his arrival, asking a few trouble-shooting questions so as to potentially avoid a service charge if a phone consultation could solve the problem. When Kevin pulled up to our very old house in Sellwood I told him this job will be a nightmare. Our old garage had settled over the years and the garage door was broken and crooked. He fixed it temporarily but we both agreed we needed to install a new one! He was polite, knowledgeable, and fun. The spring on our garage door had broken. We chose Precision due to positive reviews on Angie's List. When I called, I was elated to find out that a technician could be dispatched to my home within 30 mins. Wow! This was especially helpful since our vehicle was trapped in our garage! Kevin showed up with a smile on his face and a positive attitude. After looking over the situation, he recommended that additional parts on our garage door get replaced and updated. I'm always wary of "suggested repairs/improvements because of costs (this was a matter of spending about another $400.00), but Kevin put me at ease with his genuine & honest advice. We agreed to all of the repairs and our garage door is now working beautifully and ever so quietly! I have to give extra kudos to Kevin for NOT giving up on our garage door until it was operating to his satisfaction. We have an older door with some quirks; he got it operating as if it were brand new. A giant spring broke on our garage door, and one of the wheels came out of the side metal railing. I used a hammer to tap the little wheel back in, but I could barely lift the door manually more than a couple of feet, and could certainly not hold it open for very long. The opener could not open it more than about a foot. It was mid afternoon, about 3 pm. I searched google for garage door repair services near Tigard, Oregon. I tried several places that looked promising, but the best response I got was a promise of a call back within an hour or so. Then I called Precision. I was able to reach a human right away, without going through a lot of automated screening, and they set an appointment up for me for the next morning. Luke (the technician who came out) was on time, pleasant and courteous, helpful and knowledgeable, explained everything very well, and even did some extra work at no charge just to make things nice for us, and he gave us a few pointers on maintenance. It was clear to me that it was important to him to provide us with a good value for our money. Our garage door used to sound like it was about to come apart at the hinges when we would open it. The way it was sounding before, I was almost afraid it was about to come crashing down on me. I guess I was probably pretty lucky I wasn't present when that spring broke! Luke replaced both giant springs and lifting cables, and applied some lubrication, among other things. He was efficient and careful in his handling of our property. Now the door operates quietly and smoothly, and seems very likely to do so for the foreseeable future.

We were very happy with the service we received from Precision. The installers showed up on time (actually a little early) and were very efficient and professional. We had an issue with the garage doors closing properly (due to the age of our openers) and Precision came back out the next day (Sunday) to help fix the problem. I had heard about Precision Door before and since they also advertise on Angie's List I decided to try them. From the scheduler to the technician I had a pleasent experience. Victor called to let me know he was on his way. He pointed all the problems and suggested two different price options to replace the motors. After the installation he tested the openers and answered my questions. He also waived the call fee.
