Our garage door openers were not very good quality (already installed in the house when we moved in). They were malfunctioning (spontaneously opening and closing) when I called Precision. Jesse was quick to come out, within a couple of hours. It was great. He said it would be best to replace our garage openers. I was a little hesitant at first because I thought it was just a ploy to make money. However, after talking to Jesse and looking at our options it made sense. I was so happy that he had everything in the van, and had the time available, so that we could get it all done that day. He also helped me program my car with HomeLink and showed me how everything worked, answering all the questions I had. Jesse was very hard working and did a great job. The only constructive criticism I have is that he did a good job of cleaning up but I still had to pick up some staples and screw pieces after he left. Not a biggie though thinking of what he accomplished that day. Pretty minor. Overall we are very satisfied.

Cudos to Mike and your company. Mike did an amazing job with repairing our door with a new attachment that raises the door. (My big ooops) Mike came out to see the problem and I was amazed that he was able to repair the door at the same time. I can't begin to tell you how happy I was to hear those words, made my day, and my blessing for the day. He took the time to explain the workings of the door, also to explain the maintenance that needs to be done, we will be calling back to have this done as soon as we can. Mike is an asset to your company and devoted to doing a good job and leaving an excellent impression of himself and the company he is with. We need more people like him. Oh, my husband was looking thru the phone book for someone to call out, he looked at several different companies, then said, 'this one jumps out at me' I told him, then this is the one we call. Mike was very clear to what was wrong with the door and how to repair it and my options. You have a good employee working for you. My only issue would be the final price.. Really,if I had more time to shop around I would not accept paying that much ever... Prices way too high .

It was a very easy no hassle experience. I was able to get a very fast appointment and the installer called before hand and arrived in a timely manner. The installer came completely prepared with all the equipment needed to install two openers. He worked fast and cleaned up after the install and he even went that extra mile to tighten up all the screws on our garage doors. I would highly recommend this company to any friends looking for garage door opener repair or replacement.

I was thoroughly pleased with the service. The first positive step was that Del called to tell me that he was running about 30 minutes late from the appointment time. I really appreciated knowing that! I knew that my garage door opener had died and that I'd have to get a new one. Del confirmed that, and explained the three options for new opener systems. He thoroughly described the advantages and disadvantages, etc., of each, so I had the information I needed to make a decision. I chose which model I wanted, and Del immediately began the installation. He explained what he was doing, the differences I'd notice with the new opener (compared to the 16-year-old one that had died), and gave me good tips about opener maintenance. He completed the installation, cleaned up every bit of the packing material, etc., and gave me a "tour" of the new system. Throughout, he was courteous, pleasant, helpful and efficient. I was totally satisfied with the work he did, and love my new opener already!

5 stars...took a while to get here...but totally understand sick employees and running behind...not a problem. I do have to say that Del was PHENOMENAL! I really appreciated the thank you note and his caring and attentive nature. We will definitely pass on your name to neighbors and friends. Del had to replace our spring and cables. I have used your services twice now. I am still very impressed how quickly I was able to have our garage doors fixed. Repairs each time were done to my satisfaction. The serviceman both times was very professional and courteous. He did a complete door inspection, lubed several parts in addition to fixing the broken left spring. He also pointed out some of the weaker manufactured part that came with the original door and offered to replace these to avoid issues in the future which we gladly did. I would recommend your company to anyone and will gladly use your services myself again if needed.

Del was our tech. He phoned when he was going to be a tad late. He explained the process, teaching me how a garage door works. He was fast and efficient. He then told me what to look for in the future, should the door need further attention. He taught me how to lube it. He was awesome!

Your internet ad advertised repair and you listed a Tigard location. I needed my garage door repaired quickly. I E-mailed precision Sunday night and got a call back soon after I E-Mailed my problem. An appointment for the next morning was set up. The technician was more than capable and explained his services in detail.

I called Precision because we were having trouble with our garage door staying down. They sent out someone within a day of calling. Mike, the tech, explained what the problem was, why it was happening, and what was needed to fix the issue. He explained in terms anyone could understand and within an hour the issue was fixed. About a week later I thought the issue was still happening and Mike came out again to take a look at the problem and discovered we had a problem with one of our remotes. Mike again explained the problem with the remote and didn't charge a 2nd service fee. I would recommend Precision to anyone who has a problem with their garage door as they have excellent customer service and will go above and beyond to help.

Del was knowledgeable, timely, friendly, professional and made the pain of spending money on a new opener more bearable. He was also extremely patient with all of my questions. The garage door no longer sounds like a train wreck when it opens, and functions better than it ever has. Would definitely use this company again for future service or purchases.

A spring had broken on our garage door and both vehicles were stuck in the garage. I needed to get to work and called Precision Garage Door because the were local and rated well. In less than 30 minutes Mike was at the door ready to help. Mike did say this was a little quicker than average response time; things just worked out. In another 45 minutes the garage door was working with matching heavy duty springs. He also updated the cables, wheels and pullies so I would not find myself in the situation again any time soon. It was money I had not planned to spend - but based on the level of service it was well spent. I will add that the door now makes less noise in operation than when it was new.

Called for an appointment and Brad came out the same week to install a new garage door opener. I was told the benefits of several brands and left to choose the one that fit. Both the office and Brad called to say he would be a few minutes late. I'm impressed with their customer service. He did a safety inspection, and found I needed two new springs and cables for my door. He was very professional, polite, efficient, and friendly. Explained how to use everything and cleaned up afterwards. A little high-end price wise, but I would very highly recommend Precision if you want the job done right.

It was a great experience. Mike knew what he was doing, and there was no pressure to purchase additional products. He made some adjustments to the height of the opening so it would stop jumping off the chain. He explained what to look for if the springs broke. He replaced a burned out light bulb and explained to me why it had consistently gone out on me with the ones I had put in. He set my door opener on the mirror of my car. That has been soooooo nice to have.
