I give this whole experience a 5 star. I was offered an appointment the same day which I couldn't do but they accommodated my schedule. Jon called 1/2 before arriving saying that he would be there on time which he was. He quickly assessed the problem with my garage door, installed extra bolts top of door panel and gave me the option of replacing the rollers given their age. I had already watched the videos on your website so knew exactly what he was talking about. He explained everything he did. His communication skills are excellent and he knows how to provide excellent customer service. Your website is fabulous and very informative. I am recommending your company to both realtors who are involved in the sale of my condo in Beaverton. Thank you for excellent service.

I was given an arrival time for your technician of between 3:00 and 5:00. He called prior to his arrival and advised of his estimated arrival time. He arrived at 3:15 as estimated, introduced himself, was very polite and went right to work. He offered two or three possible causes of my problem and went right to work problem solving. He discovered the problem, fixed it and was done in about 20 minutes. Thank you for a job well done.

Scheduled a garage door tune-up. Was told door was serviceable but recommended replacing the spring which was 16 years old. This was quickly done at the time without having to make additional appointment. Work was done by a very personable and efficient technician.

Today we bought a coupon from Amazon Local and Ray came out this afternoon to tune up our garage door and install new rollers. He called when we were told he would and he came when he said he would and was very knowledgeable, good at his job, pleasant and a gentleman. We will call Precision and ask for Ray in the future.

Dear Precision Garage Door, Overall, I had a great experience with Precision Garage Door. The technician, Josh, was on time, knowledgeable, and at no point did I feel like he was trying to rip me off or be dishonest. He identified the issue rather quickly, and the fix was completed within an hour and a half. I do however, have a recommendation. When I contacted Precision Garage Door on Friday, February 13th, at 5:02 p.m., I spoke with a girl who set me up for the appointment. She was not rude, but she was not personable, and she did not make me want to do business with Precision Garage Door (in fact, I had considered telling her that I would call someone else, as I expected her to be more helpful). She failed to disclose the $69.95 service fee, which I later found out about by reading reviews. I was not upset about this service fee, but I do expect to be told about it before you come visit my home! As a manager of a call center that schedules appointments for service at a car dealership, I know the repercussions of not quoting diagnosis time. The customer should always know what to expect - and when they don't, it is those experiences that contribute to a poor reputation and negative reviews. Other than that, I don't have any qualms with the service that I received. I will use your company again, as I was impressed with the customer service provided by Josh, along with the price of the repair. Thank you, Stesha Powers

I was in a hurry to get a new garage door installed because my old garage door bottom panel fell off. Precision was the only company that could come out that same day that I called. When Victor showed up from Precision he explained everything, a super nice guy. Within a few days I had a beautiful new garage door installed by two installers, Jess and Ray who was very nice and knew what they were doing. I would recommend Precision to anyone! Thank you!

Last night about 10PM we heard a terribly loud noise, almost like a small explosion, coming from the garage. After looking around I realized it was the garage door torsion spring that had broken. This is the large spring that helps lift the heavy garage door. I had had Precision Garage Door Service come out to service the door about one year ago so I immediately called them, at 10:15PM, and set up an appointment today between 8 to 10 AM. At 8:00AM I received a call from the Technician, Ray G., who told me he would be here in 20 minutes, and that was exactly when he showed up. After opening the door, so I could get my car out, he did an inspection and then gave me Good, Better, Best estimates for fixing my garage door. The garage doors in the Arbor Town Homes are a relatively inexpensive door, and the springs, bearings, both in the rollers and the torsion spring bar, as well as the torsion spring have and estimated life of 6 to 9 years. We have lived here since 2006, so our spring lasted 9 years. I can highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service of Portland for when you need to get your garage door fixed. This is a very reputable and reliable outfit. They do not sell on price, they just want to make sure that a door repaired by them will last at least 10 years or more.

Branden was very good at explaining what was wrong with our old garage door opener as well as the service which was needed on the existing door.We replaced the opener and basically had the entire door rebuilt.After all the work was done we were amazed at just how smooth and quiet the new set up was. We have used Precision on three occasions, one Sunday and one Saturday included. They arrived when they said they would, made the necessary repairs, and the charges were fair. Kevin was professional, knowledgeable, and took care of our latest issue (broken spring) and made a few suggestions on maintenance to help prolong the life of the door. I had a broken torque master system. Precision came within 24 hours to assess the damage. No repair option but recommended two options to replace: 1) Lifetime warranty $699 2) 3 year warranty $350. Victor was pleasant and did not get defensive at my astonishment at the repair bid prices. I went with the lower priced option which was obviously better in all physical characteristics than the original one it replaced. I'm pleased with what I got.
