Absolutely great experience!! Our garage door spring broke at about 1:00pm, I called Precision and they had a tech here within 30 minutes. Service tech Robert Ruffin did a complete safety check of our 30÷ year old garage door and generated quotes for various services he could perform. He had all necessary parts to do the job and I trusted his opinion, was not pushy, was well-mannered when discussing options with my wife and me, and very meticulous in his work. Completed all service in about 2.5 hours and replaced all major parts I wanted. He also adjusted the door opener and lubed needed surfaces. Robert did an A+ job and the door is quiet and runs smoothly. I thought the total price was reasonable especially to get the entire job done the same day. Highly recommended !! - Mark Adams 10/4/25

Jackson was our service technician. He was able to come earlier than scheduled. He was very gregarious and nowadays to find a service provider with good customer skills is becoming rare. He got to work quickly, explained everything after his inspection. He discovered issues with the garage door that we were unaware of, which explained the problems with the garage door. The job site was left clean, we were shown how to use the new equipment and were shown what was replaced. We are very pleased with the work and worker. All moving parts of the garage door system were replaced.

Called Precision Garage Doors on a Monday morning for overhead door spring replacement. They had an appointment that afternoon. Brian Stearns came out within their estimated time to check out the problem. In his assessment, he found not only the broken torsion spring but that one lift cable was frayed and the tube bearings were disintegrating. Brian was personable with clear communication and performed the work professionally. Thank you Brian for finding the additional problems and correcting same before there were fuurther/future issues.! Your technician removed wall board along the top and sides of the garage door. The studs and the gaps between them are now exposed allowing outside ambient air to flow into the garage. I will need to hire a contractor to replace the wall board that was removed in order to seal up the garage and restore the status quo ante. This will have to be done at some point in order to sell the house. I cannot recommend your company because of this.

On a late Sunday afternoon, I heard a loud crashing sound from within our garage. It turns out the coiled tension spring had snapped in two. I looked online and decided to book an appointment with Precision Garage Door Service. I was surprised to see that I was easily able to schedule an appointment for the very next morning between 10am and noon. The online scheduling was convenient and easy to use. The next morning, I was contacted via text at 930am and told my technician (Chuck) was on his way. Chuck was prompt, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. He quickly assessed our needed repairs as well as the overall condition of all components and provided us three estimates ranging from minimum repair to complete overhaul. Our house is 15 years old the garage door and components were all original. It shook, banged and vibrated every time it was opened and closed. But not anymore. It is now whisper quiet and no more vibrations. Once everything was installed and working, Chuck took time to explain how to operate and program everything, provided preventative maintenance tips and cleaned up afterward. I am impressed with Precision Garage Door Service, and I would not hesitate to call them again.

Pleased is not enough to say about the quick repair service for a broken spring on a Labor day Sunday. Nicholas arrived within two hours after I found the door spring on my Clopay door had broken. I had a single spring system on a double door. I read online that a single spring is not recommended for a door that is that heavy (170#). Without mentioning that to Nicholas, he said the same thing. After this second failure in 15 years I agreed. He rebuilt the entire system with standard two springs and aligned everything also installed new quiet rollers. Super qualified installer that takes pride in his work. Much appreciated. Thanks!

We used precision door again and they did a wonderful job!! Jackson arrived early the day after we call and was one of the most friendly and knowledgeable employees who we have ever used. He gave us options and explained the problem so my wife could understand since I was out of town. He explained the difference if he replace or fixed the existing system. She decided to have a new system installed since it was a long term fix. He completed the in a short time and she was very impressed with the professionalism he showed. We would recommend the company to anyone who has a problem with their garage door system!
