I had a complete door rebuild and new operator with keypad installed. Jesse was a pleasure to work with from the moment he stepped out of the van. This is now the third time I have used Precision Garage door service. Why? Because they are quick, professional, skilled and dependable. It's as simple as that. They are slowly fixing and replacing my old garage door system as it gives up the ghost piece by piece. I don't even think now if a problem happens with my garage door...I just call the best! I called Precision because of a broken garage door spring. Before I called, I checked around and selected Precision because of referrals and their reputation, Angieâ??s List, and the Contractors Board. I also was impressed by their willingness (honesty) to post not so great comments on their website, of which there are very few. We agreed on an appointment time and the technician called before he arrived. I have two single garage doors, and Brad made a thorough inspection of both doors and showed me other wore out parts ready to fail. We determined the other door had an original spring (1979) as well. He worked up the costs and I elected to replace the second door spring now and save another service call later on. There were two frayed cables on one door and all four lift plates needed to be replaced. Brad showed me all the areas of concern and it all made sense to me. Brad did a great job of replacing the springs and adjusting all the door systems. He showed me how to take care of the door openers and rollers and what type of lubrication to use. Both doors work so much better now and they are a lot quieter. I am retired after 40 years in the construction industry, so I know he did it right! Technician arrived in the quoted time window. He was very courteous and completed theremoval of a very old garage door opener and installation of the new opener in about an hour and one half. The door now operates quietly and smoothly. We are very pleased with our experience.

Branden was prompt,called in advance to tell of arrival time. Was courteous and professional. He evaluated the doors and problem, pointed out what needed to be done and discussed alternatives. Excellent same day service! Brian came out to do what I thought was a basic spring adjustment. He identified the real problem, bearings and rollers and then gave me the spring adjustment at no charge. So I ended up spending a little more, but got what I think is a much better value. I'll definitely use you guys again.

My old garage door died of old age, it's time had come. I needed help. The new steel door was installed quickly, & efficiently. The tech was terrific. My only issue is that the new door has a sharper closing curve that is not as fluid as the old door. It just doesn't flow like the old one.

After my husband drove through our garage door, we called Precision for an estimate. They came out on a weekend for the estimate and started work on Monday. The service technician, Brian, was very quick in making the repairs and now our garage door works better than before. We are very happy with the work performed.

When our garage door stopped working, we looked in the phone book for a repair company. The words "OVERHEAD GARAGE DOOR SERVICE" in the ad for Precision looked like a logo I have seen on repair vehicles around town. The ad also says "No extra charge evenings & weekends," which sounded good because we were calling on a Saturday morning. Precision was able to schedule a technician for the same afternoon. Gary was prompt and professional. He explained the problem with the door (broken spring), assessed the age of the door and the wear on the other parts (rollers, cables, drums) and showed samples of the high-quality parts he had available. He gave us the option of a partial repair or complete replacement of the parts. We chose to replace the springs at this time. But we will keep an eye on the rollers and other parts, and will choose Precision when we are ready to replace them.

The video in the advertisement provided the information needed to make the choice of having Precision do the work. More importantly in the video the comment made by the owner of Precision indicating it had been decided, in the beginning of the business, to do quality work over low cost work made it clear Precision could be trusted. While I am always looking for savings, I am well aware that one does not save money by having something done cheaply. Now with regard to the work itself I must say I am greatly satisfied both with said work and with the attitude and competency of Brandon. I selected the default (I don't know) as I did not have Brandon's name to select from. You would do well correct that. Branden did a good job and greatly impoved the function of the garage door. Specifically, the loud noises it made then (now none). Yes Brandon sold me a product but more than that he reflected what the owner had stated in the video, a desire to do the job right, with pride, integrity and a smile. He has the way of a craftsman in my mind. One last point, if I may. I as a rule I would not participate in an exercise such as this, as I find it boring and a waste of my time. However, because of the impression Brandon made while working on my garage door I felt obligated to file out your review. Additionally, for the same reason, in the future I will be contacting Precision to do the work.

Great experience and would highly recommend Percision. I had called them out to repair a broken lift cable/chain on our 16 year old opener. Brad took the time to educate me on what to expect as far as possible future repairs for an opener this old. It became apparant to me that it was just a matter of time before other components (e.g. plastic gear) would fail. I never felt pressured to purchase a new opener but that's what I ultimated decided to do. I'm glad I did. Not only does it give me piece of mind but the operation of the new unit is whisper quite as compared to our old opener. Thank you!

I was able to set an appointment within 24 hours of my garage door spring breaking. Technicians called ahead and were on time, courteous, professional and worked quickly to get the job done. Provided explanations and options on what needed to be fixed as well as what else could be done to improve/prolong our current garage door system. I have chosen Precision for two garage door repairs (on two separate doors) and I recommend them. On the first occasion they replaced the spring. On this occasion Brad realigned tracks so that the door would close properly, then he explained the option, cost & benefit of replacing its spring (which was 23 years old). I decided to go ahead with the replacement and am happy i did so, did not feel pressured into making that decision. Precision was very easy to deal with: scheduling the service call was easy and Brad was very straightforward to work with, he explained effectively and answered all my questions, and everything worked out just as he said it would.
