I called Precision Door after my garage door stopped opening due to a broken spring. Julia was quick to gather the information about my problem and sensitive to my level of urgency, was able to offer several scheduling options to choose what works best for my busy schedule. Brian arrived right on time and quickly followed up on the information relayed to him about my issue with the broken spring. Brian did a full inspection of my door, identifying some key wear items that were (along with the broken spring) past their expected life-cycle. He put together 3 options for me, starting with simply repairing the broken spring and then moving on to additional replacement of worn parts that, while still technically functioning, were obviously to the point of needing to be replaced and could fail at any time. I ended up going with the most involved repair, which gave me the piece of mind that the moving parts that were on the same life cycle as the springs would all be replaced and I wouldn't have to worry about another call in the near future. He shared his evaluation of my garage door and opener, assuring me that they are still in great shape and there was no reason to make any changes with them, which felt good knowing our opener is old and could easily be dismissed and an opportunity to upsell a replacement that wasn't needed. Brian's experience, attention to detail, professionalism and general good company left me confident that I made the right choice in calling Precision Door. This is the second time in ten years that we used Precision to upgrade our garage door opener/system from chain drive to belt drive. the repair person was timely and perform the replacement of the broken spring. Because the garage door is 20+ years old we had the rollers replaced and new cable/drums. We notice that there was some popping from the wheels after a few days and I noticed issues with the cable and drums. I called Precision to have them look at the issue under warranty, they sent a person out and the issue is corrected.

Joe Isla arrived early and after thoroughly examining our rickety 27-year old opener, helped us choose the perfect new opener. Called them because their website said that they answer the phones 24/7 and can be out to the house quickly. Called them on Thursday night because the garage door spring broke and they were here Friday morning to fix it. The system was very old and they inspected it before they started working and made suggestions on other things that could be updated, showing us the problems and why they were making those suggestions. Ended up replacing more parts, but now the system will last for many more years, has a great warranty, and we won't have to call them out again next year. The employees were great, on time, and made sure to keep us updated on when they would arrive. We didn't feel pressured to make the other changes they suggested and it was a great service visit.

Our garage door springs broke as we were about to leave for vacation. I called Precision and they were able to get us in early the next day. Jason our tech was amazing! He showed up early, had excellent communication, educated us on the multiple issues we had. We opted to get a whole new door opener, springs, hardware. (Our old garage opener was 21 years old and we have an oversized garage door.) We were extremely impressed and have already referred a neighbor to Precision.

Even though I called after 5:00, they answered the phone. I explained my problem and they were able get out here next day. Service person was nicely a couple minutes early. He was able to repair in less than 15 minutes and set me up with an extra remote. They are the only company I would call. Five plus stars .

We were lucky enough to have Gabe come out to install our new Garage door opener and replace our rollers. Gabe was on-time, kind, helpful and thoroughly explained all our options for repair vs. replacement. I appreciated that we semi-"escalated" the appointment since I had invested $1000 for all new parts with a 10-year warranty in September 2023 which resulted in a "no charge fee" for today (normally with a warranty there is a base fee to pay). Luke had another technician with him, but Luke being one of the main trainers for Precision pointed out many flaws that were from the original installation and fixed issues that may or may not have been noticed (that should have been corrected?) back in September 2023. So got some answers to why the relapse happened but additional answers to why my garage system keeps "failing". Another discovery was how the track bar was rubbing against the top of the door itself due to the lower ceiling. I am glad there is a company that can take responsibility for their work, but also be professional to inform me of how the work of initial installation was completed and why the issues came about again. I think the project itself was more than ever anticipated, but I would honestly rather have Luke service all 20 of our garage units over the original installation company (unnamed) to help guarantee the work will last 15 to 20 years since it only has been 8 years. Showed how to properly apply lubricant spray to joints and pin areas of the rollers. Took additional time to fix the wall-mounted remote to fix the electrical line and secure it more properly to the wall.
