David was born in Lewiston Idaho and move to Oregon as a young child. He spent many of his formative years in Boy Scouts involved in numerous areas of community service. At home, David is the proud "Papa" to a miniature zoo! Malamute + 9 puppies, 3 lizards, 2 snakes, tortoise, several birds and a frustrated cat!.... and a partridge in a pear tree! His hobbies include working on older classic vehicles, hiking, fishing and being outdoors as much as possible. David enjoys working at PDS because it gives him the opportunity of engaging with, and helping people while working with his hands.

David, Precision’s technician, gave us a call 45 minutes ahead of his arrival. He was supposed to arrive between 10am and noon. He got there by 10am. He did some safety checks and replaced the broken spring wire and replaced a number of other parts that looked worn, etc. He was finished in 55 minutes and he did everything in a professional and courteous manner. I’m spreading the word to my neighbors and friends in case they may need garage door servicing.

The technician was efficient and polite. My only complaint is that your technicians should be trained NOT to ASK to punch the code in for the customer, but let the customer punch it in themselves discreetly. I did this for my daughter who experienced a traumatic home break in a few years ago. Security is paramount!! Oh, and I'm not sure why my debit card was not swiped or inserted for the card read. He punched in the numbers individually. Strange.

I’m so glad I called Precision! I’m not sure who I spoke with to make the appointment but she was friendly, efficient, and able to book me for the same day which I didn’t expect. David, the technician who arrived to fix a loose garage door cable and install a new garage door opener, was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He was able to show up for the appointment early and answered all of the questions my husband and I had. He removed the old garage door opener and installed a new one quickly and cleaned everything up afterward. He also explained everything we needed to know about the new opener. He even tweaked the track so the cables weren’t rubbing against it and now it is silent for the first time since we’ve lived in our house. The quote I was given over the phone was exactly what I was charged with no surprises or upselling. David exceeded our expectations and he was great to work with! I’m very impressed with him and with the company’s commitment to their customers. Thank you!

Our spring broke on our garage door. David came out on a Sunday and gave us three different Options for repair. Our garage door opener what is 23 years old. Besides Replacing the spring he also put in a new garage door opener all in two hours. Reasonable price and great work.
