Gary was born in California and moved to the Portland area as a young adult. He enjoys woodworking, kite flying and playing video games with one or more of his 5 children. He has always held interests in astronomy / physics, sci-fi and fantasy novels, blacksmithing / forging and homesteading and therefore brings a technical background to his role at Precision. He takes pride in his work and really wants to make sure his customers are happy on a daily basis. Gary has been with Precison Door Service since 2017.

An amazing job! A friendly guy came out and gave us an estimate for two garage doors w/frosted glass. It was scheduled about 6 weeks out, which i wished was earlier, but they came on the day they said, and did a perfect job. They took out everything related to the old garage doors, rails, opener, electronics, etc, and put in all new hardware including seals. The new opener is super quiet and i love the look of the doors. Thank you.

We knew we needed to replace our more than 40-year-old garage door but didn't realize our spring was broken and therefore dangerous. Out of the 3 estimators who came to look at our door, 2 came promptly and bid quickly, but Precision was the only one that offered to put in a temporary spring without charge to hold us until our door could be installed 6 weeks later (it actually got installed in 4 weeks). The other companies just told us we had a big problem and needed a new door and recommended we park our car outside until then. Precision sent a technician quickly to put in the temporary spring so we could park our car in the garage while waiting for the installation. Every person we dealt with at Precision was helpful, courteous, friendly, meticulous, and nice to work with. Their emails and confirmations of appointments and what to expect were excellent -- very clear and timely. Gary, our installer today, sanitized everything he touched after the installation because of the COVID-19 situation. We are so impressed with this company and all of its staff. I am so pleased with Precision that i highly recommend them to anyone who needs a new garage door!

I was so happy I called Precision Door. My garage door had become “possessed” and I was going out of town. I was afraid something would happen while I was gone.
