Robert was born and raised in Portland. A local boy through and through. He enjoys all that the PNW offers with outdoor activities and is often found on the river kayaking. He is an avid gardner but also enjoys to travel out of the state when the opportunity presents itself. He is married and enjoys life at home with his wife, dog and cat. He follows his NFL favorite team the Eagles. Robert comes to Precision with a background in the service industry and enjoys the interraction he has with both customers and co-workers.

I had made multiple appointments for quotes but I was very impressed with professionalism and very transparent communication and pricing so decided to have Robert install a replacement opener and spring system while he was there, along with a few other items that needed replacement. He stayed and made sure my app was setup and I understood how to use the system. Much appreciated, as you can imagine. Now I have to cancel the other company’s appointment, not a bad problem to have.

Super prompt and professional service. I had this company install a door two years ago and concrete contractor damaged the sensor in one side of the door. Precision came it and fixed it the same day and for a very reasonable price. These guys are great. You won’t be disappointed..

I called on Friday night after 5 pm & booked an appointment window from 8-10 am on Saturday morning. The original problem had self resolved by the time he arrived. Robert Ruffin provided an assessment of the condition of my 2006 era door & supporting hardware. I approved the estimate & he repaired all worn-out items & provided me a 10 year warranty. The process was easy & completed timely. Robert was informative, polite & completed the work with professionalism.

Absolutely great experience!! Our garage door spring broke at about 1:00pm, I called Precision and they had a tech here within 30 minutes. Service tech Robert Ruffin did a complete safety check of our 30÷ year old garage door and generated quotes for various services he could perform. He had all necessary parts to do the job and I trusted his opinion, was not pushy, was well-mannered when discussing options with my wife and me, and very meticulous in his work. Completed all service in about 2.5 hours and replaced all major parts I wanted. He also adjusted the door opener and lubed needed surfaces. I called Sunday morning to schedule an appointment to repair broken springs on my garage door. The appointment was scheduled same day on the Labor Day holiday weekend. Robert arrived, inspected the garage door and provided me a detailed estimate with options. I selected my choice and Robert began work. He was efficient, thourough, and quick. Our garage door broke on the hottest day we have had this year. Robert Ruffin came out to help us out. He checked everything over and then gave us a list of options we could go with which was great. We opted for a new opener since ours was about 30 years old. He gave us choices and then proceeded to install the new one. It is fantastic. He walked us thru the operational sequence of how the door and all of the new buttons all worked and made sure we understood them all. He was just awesome, polite and very helpful to us. My neighbor already asked for his card. I would use him again anytime!
