The 25yr. old garage door opener had to be replaced. I went to Google and chose Precision Overhead Garage Door Service. We made an appointment for Monday, but in the afternoon I received a call asking if I would have it done on Sunday. Their service charges are the same for all days. The young man showed up exactly on time. He spent about 2 hrs. replacing the opener. Afterwards, the opener worked perfectly and has continued to do so. The only problem I encountered on this was the price I was quoted by their sales office was different than what reality was. Yes, I would recommend their service to friends.

I needed to have a torsion spring replaced. After finding the Precision web site, I felt that in addition to being a local business they also provided a quality spring that would last. Brad was the service technician assigned and would also give him 5 stars for his work performed. I called Precision door just after 7am in the morning as I had backed out and bumped into my garage door when they were closed. The door wouldln't close again. When I called the dispatcher said that Brad would be out by 11. He finished his previous job and said he could come a little early. Great! We've had Brad out before when he fixed a broken garage door spring. He is efficient, kind, a good listener, and very knowledgable. He fixed up the alignment of our door within 20 minutes or so. I also had him replace a bulb in the light on the opener, and put a new code pad on the outside of the garage as the buttons on our old weren't working well. The price was so reasonable and I wouldn't call anybody else. I always know that we will be taken care of in an efficient and professional manner. Thank you so much for your good service. It's nice to know that we can have complete confidence in a company; their products, their people and their work.

I have relied on Precision for all my garage door needs. This time, it was a slow-rising door that at times would not open completely -- the result of a broken spring. Alex replaced the springs, drums, and cables. The door is now back to its regular speed, and I'm able to park the car in the garage knowing that the door will open all the way when I need to get the car out. As many reviewers have already commented, Alex was on-time, knowledgeable, and competent. He is also very personable and creative. I enjoyed talking to him, and found out about his interests in design and carpentry. Thanks Alex for taking care of my door!

The two-person team who came to our house was terrific (sorry, I didn't write down their names but hopefully you have it in your records). One handled sales and the other handled installation. The person who handled sales was very knowledgeable and helpful. The person who handled the installation did a very good job. The garage doors open quietly and reliably. I would definitely recommend both in the future.

My door was operating reliably but noisily. I would not have called for service if AAA had not offered a discount on service that would reduce the noise. It did. Brad came on time and finished the job in a half hour, including the time it took to tell me about 3 or 4 additional things he could replace now before they wear out

Precision Door was amazing! We were not sure what was wrong or how much it was going to cost, they sent someone out the very next day when they did a quote and explained every little detail with what was wrong and what should be replaced. They were very friendly and we felt completely comfortable with them in our home. We scheduled someone to come out the following week,they called to verify appointment as well as what work was being performed. They showed up on time for the appointment, went right to work, and completed all the work in an amazing amount of time! We love the quality of products and how quite it is! I got a quote in 20 minutes. I got a new door in less than 24 hours. The price was fair (a little lower than another quote)but the timing was the most convenient.I couldn't believe it only took an hour and a half to take the old door out and install a new one. It was only then that I become aware of the superior quality of their product and the piece of junk I had that broke. Yes, they even cleaned up the place better than they found it.

Hello, Found your listing with Angies list...called before noon and Brad arrived 4pm.He indicated problem with rollers and also explained my springs,due to age would need replacing in near future.He didnt attempt to"up sell" just advised of future need.At this time I chose to have both replaced which took apx 45 min.I am very satisfied with work and would not hesitate to recommend Precision and Brad to others.Thank you!

One evening, when we pulled into our driveway and pressed the garage-door opener button, the garage door made a horrible grinding sound. The next day, I read several company's garage-door repair reviews on the Internet, and Precision's name and 5-star customer ratings came up over and over. I called to make an appointment (hoping that I could plead my case and get Saturday service); the Precision representative was very nice, and before I could ask if Saturday service was even possible, she told me that Victor would be at my house Saturday afternoon! Victor worked tirelessly on my 1977 garage door, and didn't stop to take a break. He rebuilt the torsion system,installed 2 cables, 2 drums, 3 new springs that could handle the heavy garage door, 12 rollers, and a new operator chain drive. He was FANTASTIC at his job! He even programmed the garage door opener for me! I give Victor and Precision 10 stars --- because 5 stars doesn't do the service justice!

We damaged our garage door on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We called and Precision had someone out that afternoon. He not only repaired the door - he tuned up the 2 other garage doors. We have always had great service from Precision. I would recommend them highly.

We contacted Precision Door Service after the torsion spring on our garage door broke. Initially, we were only planning to get the spring replaced. Brad, the salesperson, came in to look at the door and found that the wooden door was already showing signs of rot (our house is pretty old). He suggested getting a new door to save on the cost of replacing the spring and then having to replace the door in a couple of years. We agreed to go with that, and also asked for a door opener to be installed, if possible, since we didn't have one and I really wanted to get one. Our garage has a low ceiling and the floor slopes slightly down the right side. We had been told by other contractors that installing a door opener was impossible. Brad called the installer with measurements, and was told that it might be possible. When Gerry, the installer, came in with the new door and took a look at the garage, he was confident he could get the opener installed. We were off at work and returned home when he was done, and were very pleasantly surprised to find that he has installed it. His work was very clean and neat, and he had paid a lot of attention to detail. He had noted that my husband is tall, and made sure that nothing he installed would hit my husband's head. He also fixed the retainer on the bottom of the door to be thicker on one end so the seal was good even though the floor was sloped. I have rarely seen such attention to detail in other work we have had done around our house. I am very happy with the door and the quality of installation and I would recommend the company.

Accommodation for our emergency (car stuck in garage) was perfect, we lost little time due to our broken spring. Installation of new equipment was top notch, work required was expertly done. The only downsides was that we were not informed prior to the work/estimate that we would have been eligible for a 3yr warranty for just a few bucks more. The previous service call put the door sensors in incorrectly and we were charged to have them properly installed.
