My garage openers were install by Precision in June of 2014 and were adjusted in October of the same year. Not a word was said at either visit about oiling the hinges, etc., by either tech. Yesterday the man was extremely helpful; I say man because either he didn't tell me his name or more likely he did and I missed it; I'm afraid I am very delinquent when hearing people's name - my problem! He said they should be oiled yearly which no one had said; he explained and I watched how and where to oil/spray. That is something I can't do, but it is certainly something my daughter or someone else can do for me. I appreciated that! A lot of service people don't tell the customer so to keep that customer calling back for simple tasks such as this. He was polite, did the task without dawdling, and explained the process of signing on a tablet rather than paper form. Send him back anytime!, I appreciate a company with employees like him. Thank you. P. S. In the "Service Performed" below, I think garage door opener maintenance is preferable to "repair"in this instance.

Paul arrived right on time and quickly assessed the problem as a defective cable. After reviewing our garage door history, he determined that we were covered by warranty and would not have to pay for the new cables. Within minutes he replaced the cables, balanced the door and was on his way. He was effective and efficient.

Fantastic service. Paul was outstanding. We had an opener installed and our other doors refurbished. Paul was done with all the work quickly and then spent time explaining what he had done and showing us how to operate the new opener. Would definitely call Precision again. Luke showed up just an hour after I had made my appointment. He surveyed the problem with my door, repaired it, lubricated it and was done an hour after that. Great service from a very competent serviceman. Thank you! (That's 2 hours from my call for an appointment until Luke was finished with the repair!)

Paul called and was able to come early for our appointment. Our door was not functioning properly and was very noisy. I thought it needed some adjustment. He discovered, very quickly, that the support for the spring mechanism was pulling out of the wall. He fixed and reestablished the support and then proceeded to solve the rest of the noise problem. When he was done the door was very quiet, worked properly and seemed solid. I thought my bill was going to pretty high but I was surprised at how reasonable it was. He was very professional as was the scheduling person. The response time was very good.....less than 24hrs.

Steve was the tech that repaired our garage door. 1. He was courteous and thorough in explaining exactly what we needed. 2. He gave us 3 price options that would fit our needs....a good, better, best scenario. (We chose better). 3. He worked quickly and was finished with a minimum of inconvenience to us. 4. He took time to show us how to treat the opening & closing of the door in order to prolong its life as much as possible. (It’s a 40 year old door). Very pleased with the work. We’ll be back if we need anything else!

Unexpectedly trapped in my garage on the weekend due to broken spring. Thank goodness Precision was able to get to it same day on a Saturday. Scheduling and time updates were very helpful, great system. The service tech Joe was very professional, gave me detailed options for other worn parts, and got the job done efficiently. Called today with a challenge and they exceeded my expectations. Paul showed up on time and in short order, sized up the situation, provided an estimate for repair. He advised against replacing the existing door but repaired the hardware and replaced the aged springs. It works like a charm. A very happy customer here

I was very impressed, I was told a technician would arrive between 12:00 and 2:00 and he arrived promptly at noon. The problem was quickly diagnosed and remedied and both doors were serviced. Our garage doors have never opened and closed so quietly. Will definitely call again when the need arises.

We contacted Precision Door only because they were open on the weekend and our normal company was closed. Gary caught multiple issues that our normal maintenance company missed (multiple times). For example, painter's tape was still present on the cables from when the house was built: this extra friction and imbalance likely caused the problem that had us looking for an urgent repair. He replaced our springs and some other parts with much higher quality products. Our garage has never run smoother or quieter. Will definitely continue using this company.

The door looks great. The team came when expected, installed the door and opener and hauled away the 1964 original door. Now I have a new door and opener with remotes and sensors so no animals and grandchildren are injured.
