Tim was amazing. He showed up the next day after I called to fix my garage door. He explained what the door needed. Offered several choices at different prices. He was very helpful pointing out and suggesting things I can do as a single mom to maintain and help the garage door continue to work. I was very impressed by his knowledge and the way he helped me and my garage door.

Estimator showed up. Talked about choices I took time off work because I was told that once a choice was made the install would happen. Another schedule will need to be made Customer Service gives out the wrong information

The Gentleman that came was very nice but I was charge $250 for 35 minutes worth of work. He replace 2 cables and tightened up the Springs. I recommend shopping around because their prices are outrageous.

Dear Precision Garage Door, Overall, I had a great experience with Precision Garage Door. The technician, Josh, was on time, knowledgeable, and at no point did I feel like he was trying to rip me off or be dishonest. He identified the issue rather quickly, and the fix was completed within an hour and a half. I do however, have a recommendation. When I contacted Precision Garage Door on Friday, February 13th, at 5:02 p.m., I spoke with a girl who set me up for the appointment. She was not rude, but she was not personable, and she did not make me want to do business with Precision Garage Door (in fact, I had considered telling her that I would call someone else, as I expected her to be more helpful). She failed to disclose the $69.95 service fee, which I later found out about by reading reviews. I was not upset about this service fee, but I do expect to be told about it before you come visit my home! As a manager of a call center that schedules appointments for service at a car dealership, I know the repercussions of not quoting diagnosis time. The customer should always know what to expect - and when they don't, it is those experiences that contribute to a poor reputation and negative reviews. Other than that, I don't have any qualms with the service that I received. I will use your company again, as I was impressed with the customer service provided by Josh, along with the price of the repair. Thank you, Stesha Powers

Thank you for your valuable comments. I appreciate your sharing your experience and apologize for the less than stellar performance when you called our company. You should have been told about a service charge. I am addressing this issue and working with our team to fix this and to ensure that customers have a great experience from start to finish. Thank you for your business.

A couple years ago the spring broke on my garage door, so I called Precision to replace it. They did a great job, I thought. A few months later I had some trouble with the opener. When I pulled the latch to disconnect the opener from the door, the door started to drop to the ground. When I called Precision to asking they could come back and adjust the tension on the spring, they said that would be another full charge. When I asked " if they knew the spring would weaken in the first few months, why did they say that at install or adjust accordingly. " The lady said Do you want it adjusted or not." I said no. It seemed like they do half of a job, then charge you again to do the other half. Beware of companies like this.
