That's why I chose Precision Door Service. They had all of the services I was looking for and provided timely installation at an affordable cost. The technician, Shawn Teel, showed up on time as well as called and provided a photo of himself before arrival. I will (sentimentally) miss the old wooden doors but the new doors are exactly as expected and I'm glad I made the choice to use Precision Door Service.

So far so good, some scheduling issues and communication was great. Friendly and skilled. The only thing I really didn't care for was that the tech put a sticker on my garage wall without asking. I don't mind the sticker just the placement and doing it without consent. I moved it and all good now.

I would have left a 5 star review if it were not for the prices. Nicholas and Nick came out to service my garage door and find where the beep was coming from. We looked everywhere because the sound was hard to locate. Finally, despite the opener saying on the outside that there were no internal parts, Nick took the cover off and found a replacement battery. The guys were awesome. The issue is that there are four levels of cost choices that were from $370-1100. The charge for the battery itself to replace was around $200 which I think is excessive based on what I looked up. I chose the lesser cost structure as the garage door has been fine with no issues other than the beep. I am sure that things could be replaced (rollers, etc) but as it works great I was still surprised by having to pay $370 for a battery and maintenance. But, great job, Nicholas and Nick.

They are very johnny on the spot and even come out on weekends, which i love. They're also very nice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is they kinda dinged me monetarily. They were out about a year ago and offered to upgrade the rollers or the entire spring system. My spring system was working so I took him up on the rollers. What he failed to mention is that when the spring system eventually went out, I'm forced to replace it with a fully boxed upgrade that makes me buy rollers again. Had he been upfront with that reality a year ago, I would have just done it all instead of literally throwing away 400$ that the new guy just replaced today. Even when I asked him if i wasted my money back then, he said 'essentially'. Again, they do a good job overall but I hope they'll adjust their process to tell a complete story if you're going to offer upgrades or preventative maintenance. It's honestly better for both parties

This is the second time I have used Precision Door Service. The first was to install a new garage door opener and second was to replace broken spring. In both cases, the tech was polite, on time and professional. Today, David repaired my broken spring. He was there in less than an hour after of my call. He spent time to explained everything. I had him add some new rollers and the entire job was complete very quick. He cleaned up after the job. My garage door is now fixed and quieter than ever ! Just like new! Thanks David and the team for the quick and professional response. I will definitely use them again. You should give them a try!

The site rep's visit happened the same day that I called to request an estimate. The Precision representative was well-informed and thorough in the assessment of the garage door issues we wanted addressed. We received the estimate later that day. Very professional, very congenial.

Very quick response to my service request - I could not get the garage door open and my car was inside! I called the company who installed the door first. They said it would likely be over a week to get out and look at it. Precision was out and fixed the door within 2 hours. The cost to fix it was established after scoping the work and parts, and I thought the price was reasonable. Pete

I’m a builder and have used Precision many times. Always very prompt, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. This time the installer was 5 months new employee, couldn’t answer some of my questions, was frustrated with the install, took 5 hours. When I booked appointment i told caller I wanted the same opener as installed last year. Installer said they don’t carry those. Appointment person should have had knowledge of my account, installer needed more info/better training. He was very prompt, courteous, nice guy and professional, nothing personal against him, he did a good job. Just too new for my liking. From a long time customer a seasoned veteran should have been sent. I get it he has to learn somehow but I had higher expectations of Precision. I’ll still use Precision but please do better training with your staff. Thanks.
