Shane comes to Precision Door Service with over 18 years in the industry. He enjoys the job because it offers interaction with folks from all walks of life and each day brings a different energy and experience. Shane was born in Texas and moved to Oregon as a young child, finished High School in Northern California and returned to the Pacific North West just as soon as he could. Couldn't imagine living anywhere else! He is the proud parent to three grown children and a young, energetic husky.... Shane enjoys road trips inside our beautiful state and loves to kayak whenever he can.

Had an issue with the garage door not closing. Tried to fix the issue myself to no avail. After going over what i already did done the technician gave me some recommendations as to what needed to be done to help resolve the issue and make the door run smoother. After all was said and done, turns out the opener itself was the problem. Circuit board most likely. I could have waited a week and ordered a new board on Amazon but i just wanted the door to be fixed. So, a new head [opener] was suggested and i already had budgeted that before service was called. Now, not only does my door work properly, it is a thousand times quieter than the old. Thank you so much for timely service but for no nonsense pricing.

Called Precision after looking them up online. Within days someone was at my home and everything was repaired! I appreciated the careful covid precautions, the attention to detail, and even the extra help I was offered while I attempted to coil an especially long extension cord in my garage. We chose Precision Garage Doors after seeing them advertised in “The Home Mag”. Had some noises coming garage doors, so we decided to get them tuned up. The technician who serviced our doors “Shane” was awesome! He was very helpful, super polite, and even showed some simple tricks on maintaining garage doors. Most techs do not appreciate owner or anyone hanging around. Shane on the other hand was very receptive to my willingness to watch and learn! Thanks Shane you rock!!
