Born into a military family in MA, Tim has lived in many different places but has always called Oregon "home". He graduated from Gresham HS and spent a year at the Univeristy of Oregon as a vocal performance major before joining the US Army. After his term of service concluded, Tim worked in electric power generation and exterior construction before moving into the garage door industry. Tim loves playing hockey (ice and inline), reading, sci-fi, and documentaries. He is also heavily involved in the Civil Air Patrol, having served for over 30 years. He is the father of 4 children and owns two crazy Norwegian Elkhounds and a psycho Black Lab!

My wife and I had our garage door opener break on us on a Sunday at 4:00 pm. We were unable to even get it to work manually as the red cable broke when we attempted to manually open it. We panicked as we needed to use our cars the next morning for work. So we luckily found Precision Door’s ad on the Internet, read their great reviews and noted that they work seven days a week. We called them right away and they were very reassuring; they stated they could have someone to our house within two hours. The technician arrived 90 minutes later and was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and was able to diagnose the problem immediately. He then gave us a fair and reasonable price and fixed the problem in less time than he predicted. He also performed a few extra services for us at no charge (ie., lubricating the garage door, etc.). We were very happy with the work performed and how effortlessly this company resolved our problem. I would highly recommend them for any garage door services you may need or any other services they offer. We will certainly recommend them to anyone who requires this type of service.

First time user, cold called the number from Google. Person who answered the phone is/was very pleasant and indicated the soonest a person could be here was Sunday, the next day. That was fine, it was scheduled and Tim arrived on Sunday about 10:30 AM. Very qualified and knew what he was doing. Initially, I would have given the company 0 stars because they had my address and phone number mixed up with someone else which didn’t get fixed until after the second no-show. However, once that was finally worked out, Tim came out and did an absolutely fabulous job replacing the mechanism and doing a lot of little touches that make the door almost silent when it opens! He was so friendly and explained everything to me. I am VERY pleased with the result! I think that the initial mix-up was probably a rare fluke.
