Colby was born in Forest Grove, making him local to the PNW! Colby comes to Precision Door with over 5 years exprience working with garage doors and in the service industry. He mostly enjoys the troubleshooting/finding solutions aspect of the job, but really loves to converse with customers! In his spare time he supports several sporting teams including the San Francisco Giants, San Jose Sharks, San Francisco 49ers and on a local level, he is a Ducks fan. Colby enjoys the outdoors, both working and spending down time in it - that includes hunting, fishing, golfing and generally working out.

Colby Diaz immediately diagnosed the problem with our new garage door system and fixed the problem. He was very thorough, went step by step back through the installation process, and made the necessary adjustments so that the problem would not recur. He then repeatedly tested the door with the inside wall-mounted keypad, the outside keypad, and the remotes. He was friendly and professional. When you call for an appointment, don’t waste time, just ask for Colby.

I am a do it yourself person and I managed to install the new garage door motor myself, but I was having issues with programming portion, and after re-reading the instructions several times, my wife told me to call Precision Garage Door. They had been to our house in 2021 to install a new door spring. I was able to get a technician named Colby to come over within two hours, he was personable, knowledgeable, professional, and had a good sense of humor too. He fixed the issue within 15 minutes. I am so grateful for Precision. Colby was awesome, he really knows the ins/outs for everything on garage doors, and takes pride in his job. It's really nice to know that there is a wonderful A++ business out there like Precision Garage Doors. Call them for ALL your garage door issues, you won't be disappointed. I am a VERY happy customer, thanks again.

I scheduled the service for the same day and Colby showed up as scheduled. He explained to me and provided three different estimates depending on the work I wanted done and I chose to go with the best to replace everything that need was needed. He was quick efficient and cleaned up after himself and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely would use Precision Door if it's needed in the future!

Very quick response to my service request - I could not get the garage door open and my car was inside! I called the company who installed the door first. They said it would likely be over a week to get out and look at it. Precision was out and fixed the door within 2 hours. In a couple of hours today Colby knocked out a compete hardware overhaul on my 40+ year old garage door. Glides like new! So easy to open by hand! I scheduled tune ups on my 3 doors using the online scheduler. Was able to get a next day appt. Colby was great. He evaluated our door seals and determined why they were squealing and progressively getting worse even after I had lubricated the hinges and rollers. Very professional and friendly and no pressure, just options.

Colby did a great job overhauling our 53 yr old wood door. Many worn out parts along with the broken spring. New parts are sealed bearing type with 5yr warranty on all work.

Colby is an asset to Precision Door. Called and spoke with me about coming earlier than our appointment. Examined the situation and provided a detailed breakdown and estimate, which was reasonable considering the age of the garage door. Proceeded to repair the door and it works perfectly!
