My 20-year old garage door opener was working intermittently because the motor was shorting out. It had to be replaced. Hunter came out within an hour of my call, diagnosed the problem and was able to replace it immediately. The new one is so quiet and it has a battery backup in case of a power outage.

Travis did a great job. He showed up on time giving me a call to let me know he was on his way. He assessed the issue with my Genie garage door opener and explained what was failing with it. Travis provided three options for repair (repair current opener, replace with a new opener, or replace with the best opener). We went with fixing the current one. That was done very quickly even though he admitted he had never worked on this type of issue on a screw drive before. He finished his inspection of the entire garage door, tracks, and system to ensure all worked as intended. The opener worked and was quieter than I have heard it before. Travis left me with an invoice that included reasonable estimates for replacing the opener with the two new opener options and even provided a discount if I called within a few months. I had mentioned my interest in the near future but needed the garage door to work now in the most affordable way. Travis is great and this is the second time using Precision with the same outcome. Will use again.

Sunday morning, I hit my door backing out my SUV. My rig was, miraculously, just scratched 2 inches. I'm the only one that can see it. My garage door? Bashed and jammed open. Precision responded immediately. Impact was 10:50am, Hunter was driving away from my house and the garage door was operating 12:25pm. This is the second emergency that I've had that Precision has come to my rescue. 2017 Feb. Minor ice storm, but still lost power on a Sat. Power back on, getting dark. Can't get door functioning for some reason? Tech shows up at 4:30pm and I'm open! Can get to the store! (I can drive in a little glaze, unlike most of the locals, but that's another story...) A great company with a great product. Hunter is a credit to you. Kim, too. Kudos!

We damaged our garage door opener mechanism when an electrical extension cord we draped over it for our Christmas lights got caught on it. We disconnected the door from the mechanism, but it wouldn't close all the way, and we were leaving town a couple of days later and needed it fixed. We reached Precision Door that same night, and they came out the following morning. They checked the door and repaired it, also checked the other door. They were very efficient, and reasonably priced, too!

Luke arrived on time and did a great job repairing our garage door! He was so patient explaining the options and left us feeling we are now set for several years with a quiet opener that is working without making us fear we can't get into our home!
