We have been customers of Precision Garage Door Service for several years. We have had them out for various reasons and each time the technicians have been very kind, efficient at discovering the problem and always have a great solution. I appreciate that they do not use high pressure sales techniques. They will let you know what needs to be taken care of at the time and what can wait. Today we moved forward with two new garage door openers. They had the products in stock in their van and were able to install while they were out so we could use our garage door again, all on the same day! From the time I called to the time they arrived, it was about 2 1/2 hours. Amazing! Chuck was our technician today. He was great! Very personable and did a fabulous job with the opener installs and also took the extra time to make sure we were all set before he left, familiarizing us with the new technology and the warranties. We had Scott last time and he was equally fantastic and true to his words. This company is an absolute testament to treating your customers right and they will return. We will be purchasing new garage doors next! Are scheduling an estimator to come out. When our garage door wouldn’t open today my daughter mentioned how these things always happen at the worst possible times. It made me chuckle because it reminded me of one of recent Precision tv ads that says that exact same thing and follow it up with something like that is why they offer same day appointments to get you moving again. Garage door was popping and rattling. Part of the center panel was catching on a hinge and starting to tear. David was able to make it out the very next afternoon. After checking every bolt and hinge, watching the door go up and down, and examining the overlaps and interactions of the panels, he was able to determine the screws holding the plastic hinges in the wood were loose and stripping out. The door is over forty and pretty well put through the paces over the years. He probably could have sold me a new door right there, but he told me a set of new metal hinges would do the trick. Less than an hour later we had new hinges, the spring was tightened up, everything tight and lubed. The door goes up and down like it was new. Smooth and quiet. Now it likely will need to be replaced at some point in the future, but for now it's in great shape after the tune up. When it is time for a new door, it will absolutely be a door from Precision. I wanted to have them come out and do a tune up. I've worked with them before and was very pleased. Jackson was the technician that arrived. He gave me a phone call to let me know he was on the way. He checked over the system and had so recommended repairs. He let me know that the springs and opener motor were nearing the end of life. Had an estimate ready, but wasn't pushy about selling it to me which I appreciated. I decided to go with replacement and he was able to do it the same time. It looks amazing and so professional. More importantly, it sounds so much better than before. I appreciate Jackson's recommendations and his hard work. I will definitely call them again. Fabulous company.
